Two dominant guards in Keon Scott and Kenneth Lipscomb are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Meade Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Severn Run Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meade knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Severn Run likes a good challenge.
Last Saturday, Meade didn't have too much trouble with Severna Park as they won 63-48.

Arouna Soumaoro produced another solid performance shooting 67% from the field to rack up 25 points and seven rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last four games he's played. Obi Mensah was another key player, putting up ten points and five boards.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Severn Run rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Gophers by a score of 67-60.
Meade better focus on containing Caleb Adamah and Ricco Gough as the pair were huge in Severn Run's win. Adamah dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds, while Gough went 5-for-6 on his way to 15 points and seven boards. That's the most points Adamah has posted since back in December of 2025.
Severn Run smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 19 consecutive contests.
Severn Run has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Meade, their victory bumped their record up to 22-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Meade has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Severn Run struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Meade against Severn Run when the teams last played last Thursday, as the team secured a 67-33 win. In that matchup, the Mustangs amassed a halftime lead of 51-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
