Basketball Game Preview: Shead Tigers vs. Woodland Dragons

Shead hasn't had much luck against Woodland recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Shead Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Woodland Dragons at 6:30 p.m. Shead has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Shead is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since December 7, 2024 on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 62-23 victory over Deer Isle-Stonington.

Meanwhile, Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-52 heartbreaker at the hands of George Stevens Academy.

Shead's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Woodland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
