Selinsgrove's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Jersey Shore Bulldogs with a sharp 18-7 victory. The Seals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Gavin Landis, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Neidig, who scored three runs and stole a base.

Landis wasn't the only one making solid contact: Selinsgrove kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Selinsgrove's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Jersey Shore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Selinsgrove will face off against Williamsport at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jersey Shore, they will be playing at home against Warrior Run at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
