Sandburg came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Oak Lawn Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Sandburg pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Oak Lawn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandburg will challenge Homewood-Flossmoor at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oak Lawn, they will take on Lemont at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
