Soccer Game Preview: Divine Child vs. Cranbrook Kingswood

The Divine Child Falcons will challenge the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, Divine Child didn't have quite enough to beat St. Clair and fell 3-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Divine Child came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 76th, while St. Clair are ranked 202nd).

Meanwhile, Cranbrook Kingswood kept a clean sheet against Mercy on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Marlins.

Divine Child's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-2. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, their win bumped their record up to 2-6-2.

Everything went Divine Child's way against Cranbrook Kingswood in their previous matchup back in April, as Divine Child made off with a 4-0 victory. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Cranes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
