Softball Recap: Cabot Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Cabot challenged Har-Ber on Saturday. The Cabot Panthers fell 5-2 to the Har-Ber Wildcats. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cabot and nudges their season record down to 6-2. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 4-1 Benton (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 82.9% over those games). As for Har-Ber, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Cabot has already played their next contest (against Mayflower), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Har-Ber also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Benton.
