Layla Hinojosa Game Report: vs McKeel Academy

Layla Hinojosa gave up the fewest walks she has since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. She was dialed in as she struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She was dominant the last time she took on McKeel Academy back in March of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Hinojosa has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

Coming up, Hinojosa and George Jenkins will play host again on Monday to welcome Plant City, where first pitch is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. The last time Hinojosa duked it out with Plant City (back in April of 2024), George Jenkins came out on top by a score of 5-4.
