Softball Recap: Kouts Mustangs & Fillies vs. Bremen Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hebron, Kouts was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Bremen Lions as they made off with an 11-0 win. With that victory, the Mustangs & Fillies brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Katelyn Kleckner was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cheyanne Bailey was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Sophia Tikalsky, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.
