It's playoff time, and South Anchorage had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears with a sharp 38-17 win on Saturday. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

South Anchorage didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Garrett Hobbins and Cody Lindstrom. Ethan Yarrington was another major factor on D, making 15 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

South Anchorage pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.8 points over those games. As for Juneau-Douglas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, South Anchorage will square off against West Anchorage at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.1 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them. Juneau-Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
