Football Recap: St. Brendan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. Brendan extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 4-4. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions. The shutout was out of character for the Sabres seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

As for Immaculata-La Salle, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average this season.

The critical scores for Immaculata-La Salle came from Antwan Jones, Jayvion Robinson, Tavarus Jones, and Luciano Carniglia.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Brendan will take on Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulls' defense has only allowed 8.9 points per game this season, so the Sabres' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they will square off against Mater Academy Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Royal Lions 4, the Lions 8.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
