Tavares is 10-0 against Umatilla since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Tavares Bulldogs will welcome the Umatilla Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m.

Tavares is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Mount Dora on Friday. Tavares fell 3-1 to Mount Dora. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 370th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 124th).

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Umatilla made sure to put some goals up on the board against Interlachen on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Rams.

Tavares' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Umatilla, their win bumped their record up to 4-12-1.

Tavares beat Umatilla 2-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will Tavares repeat their success, or does Umatilla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
