Baseball Game Preview: Madison West Regents vs. Middleton Cardinals

For the second straight game, Madison West will face off against Middleton. The Regents will square off against the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Madison West is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Madison West and Middleton meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Regents fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2.

The win made it two in a row for Middleton and bumps their season record up to 7-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Madison West, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
