Volleyball Recap: Kellis Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mountain Pointe last Thursday, Kellis came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the Ironwood Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11, 25-11.

Kellis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Ironwood, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-9.

Kellis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Willow Canyon on the 3rd. As for Ironwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Canyon View on the 3rd.
