Basketball Recap: Arcanum Takes a Loss

Arcanum lost against Tri-Village back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans took a 52-38 bruising from the Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Patriots are ranked 100th).

Arcanum has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Tri-Village, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Arcanum will be taking part in a tournament against Covington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-Village and Coldwater will round out the year against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
