Soccer Preview: Mendota vs. Streator/Woodland
Mendota has been on the road for four straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will host the Streator/Woodland Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, everything went Mendota's way against Somonauk as Mendota made off with an 8-1 win. Considering the Trojans have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, Streator/Woodland kept a clean sheet against Peotone on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Blue Devils.
Mendota's win bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for Streator/Woodland, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8-2.
