Basketball Recap: Portland Takes a Loss

The Portland Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Northwest Vikings on Saturday and fell 55-52.

Despite the loss, Portland still got an impressive performance from Keilen Dalton, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Calvert, who posted ten points.

Portland's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northwest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Portland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-44 win against Gallatin on the 22nd. As for Northwest, they will take on Clarksville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
