Volleyball Recap: Albert Lea Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Albert Lea challenged Mankato East on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Albert Lea dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mankato East, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
