Volleyball Recap: Andover's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

After a string of eight wins, Andover's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Centennial Cougars. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Huskies haven't been shut out since back in September.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17, 25-12.

Ali Dehnicke paced Andover's offense, picking up six kills. Dehnicke got some help from Taegan Groess and her 14 assists. Maya Roeder controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Andover's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Andover nor Centennial have any future games scheduled.
