While Skyline put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Mount Si. The Spartans took down the Wildcats 14-0. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Colin Shamp was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 176 yards and one touchdown. Those 176 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Skyline proved: they limited Mount Si to a paltry 3.5 yards per carry. The Spartans' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.7.

Skyline has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points on average over those games. As for Mount Si, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Si, they will take on Redmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
