Volleyball Recap: Greensburg Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Greensburg entered their tilt with Lawrence North on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Pirates were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Pirates were just returning the favor.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greensburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lauren Powers, who had six digs and two aces. Roma Robbins also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Greensburg's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lawrence North, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Greensburg has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Batesville on the 25th. As for Lawrence North, they will take on Warren Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
