Soccer Recap: Nitro Gets the Win

While Nitro didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-11-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lincoln County Panthers a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. It was an even better day for Bodie Jordan as he scored three goals for his team.

Nitro's victory bumped their record up to 8-0-1. As for Lincoln County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Nitro wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Winfield on the 18th. As for Lincoln County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
