Softball Game Preview: Colfax Vikings vs. Durand-Arkansaw Panthers

The Colfax Vikings will challenge the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colfax will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

While Colfax's victory against Spring Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Cardinals on Monday.

Meanwhile, Durand-Arkansaw beat Elmwood/Plum City 6-2 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won eight in a row.

Colfax pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Durand-Arkansaw, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
