Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Eaton walked away with it. They came out on top against The Classical Academy Titans by a score of 3-0 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Reds, who have now won nine contests in a row.

The result came thanks to Gunnar Garrison's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Eaton's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tito Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Lopez has posted since back in April.

Eaton pushed their record up to 20-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for The Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.

As of now, neither Eaton nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
