Jurupa Hills entered their tilt with Eisenhower on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 5-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 back in March.

Aaden Lopez made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Lopez wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Casey Ard, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another was Matthew Toscano, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Jurupa Hills hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive games.

Jurupa Hills pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Eisenhower, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Jurupa Hills by a score of 4-3 on Friday.
