Basketball Game Preview: Flour Bluff Hornets vs. Miller Buccaneers

The Flour Bluff Hornets will face off against the Miller Buccaneers at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Flour Bluff is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Flour Bluff against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial as the team secured a 56-23 win. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Miller came up short against Alice on Tuesday and fell 47-38. While the Buccaneers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Coyotes 16-8 in the first quarter.

Flour Bluff pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Miller, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.
