Soccer Game Preview: Golden West vs. El Diamante

The Golden West Trailblazers will face off against the El Diamante Miners at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Golden West will be strutting in after a victory while El Diamante will be coming in after a loss.

Golden West's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over Monache. The result was nothing new for the Trailblazers, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, El Diamante's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Redwood.

Golden West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven games. As for El Diamante, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12-6.
