Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Takes a Loss

If Heritage Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Ben Bauer paced Heritage Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Bauer got some help from Ethan Gorny and his 13 assists. Finally, Bauer was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Heritage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Guerin Catholic, with the victory, they broke their 15-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-16.

Heritage Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on the 3rd. As for Guerin Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Herron on the 3rd.
