Shasta is 8-2 against West Valley since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Wolves will be home for the holidays to greet the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Shasta will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Shasta's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Yreka with a sharp 6-0 win. Considering Shasta have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavin Copeland and Ryder Gibson scored all six of Shasta's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between West Valley and Foothill, and Foothill kept the tradition alive. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for West Valley in their meetings with Foothill: they've now lost four in a row.

West Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Shasta, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Shasta took their win against West Valley when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will Wolves repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
