Baseball Recap: Northridge Academy Pumas vs. Panorama Pythons
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northridge Academy). They never let the Panorama Pythons get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Friday. With that win, the Pumas brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.
Jesse Caballero was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has become a key player for Northridge Academy: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 2-6 otherwise. Caballero was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing six bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
