Chowchilla had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears. The Tribe were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Golden Bears, so the Tribe were just returning the favor.

Among those leading the charge was April Miller, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven matchups. Jaylen Danieli also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Chowchilla's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Sierra Pacific, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Chowchilla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Atascadero on the 13th. As for Sierra Pacific, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Madera South on the 13th.
