Softball Recap: Flowing Wells Gets the Win

The third road matchup was the charm for Flowing Wells, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They skirted past the St. David Tigers 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Caballeros in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Flowing Wells saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brisiana Quevedo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-7. As for St. David, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.

Flowing Wells didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-4 win against Bisbee on the 21st. As for St. David, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against Nogales on the 21st.
