Basketball Recap: Chesterton Academy of Sacramento Takes a Loss

Chesterton Academy of Sacramento was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Adventure Christian Warriors and fell 78-47. The Saints were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-14.

Adventure Christian found their leader in freshman Josiah Blackwell, who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards. The contest was Blackwell's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Graham, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Chesterton Academy of Sacramento's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Adventure Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Chesterton Academy of Sacramento does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Adventure Christian has already played their next match (against Pine Hills Adventist), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
