Tribe W is 1-7 against Lifegate Christian since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tribe W Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lifegate Christian Falcons at 6:30 p.m.
Tribe W's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in December of 2023 after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 38-14 walloping at the hands of Texas School for the Deaf.
In what's become a running theme this season, Lifegate Christian gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Salem Sayers Baptist Academy 59-26 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Lifegate Christian as they're now sitting on five straight.
Anelyna Cavazos was her usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Elena Mendez, who scored six points along with 18 rebounds and six steals.
Tribe W bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lifegate Christian, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.
