Basketball Game Preview: Batavia Bulldogs vs. Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls

The Batavia Bulldogs will square off against the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Batavia is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Batavia is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Summit Country Day: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Batavia blew Summit Country Day out of the water with a 55-22 final score. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mt. Healthy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Northwest 34-13 on Wednesday.

Batavia's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Mt. Healthy, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
