Recap: Cathedral Fighting Irish vs. Lawrence North Wildcats
On Friday, The Cathedral Fighting Irish faced the Lawrence North Wildcats in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Cathedral enjoyed a cozy 20-3 win over Lawrence North. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cathedral.
Jalen Bonds went supernova for Cathedral, rushing for 262 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Cathedral has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Lawrence North, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
Cathedral will take on Ben Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ben Davis is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Lawrence North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
