Basketball Recap: Jamie Maney's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dundalk over Perry Hall

Dundalk lost against Perry Hall back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dundalk Owls took a 39-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perry Hall Gators. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dundalk's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamie Maney, who posted 13 points. That was a full 44.8% of Dundalk's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lanaya Valentine, who put up nine points.

Dundalk's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Perry Hall, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Dundalk will take on Carver A&T in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at. As for Perry Hall, they will venture away from home to square off against Woodlawn at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
