Sneads has been on the road for four straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
After a 49-14 finish the last time they played, Sneads and Blountstown decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. Sneads took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blountstown on Friday.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 19-14 victory over Pike Liberal Arts on Friday. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but Lighthouse Private Christian Academy was the better team in the second half.
Jayden Bonhomme was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 70 receiving yards. Bonhomme was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 66 yards.
Sneads' loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.5 points per game. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, their win on Friday bumped their record up to 3-3.
Everything came up roses for Sneads against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 43-14 win.
