Recap: Moorcroft Wolves vs. Burns Broncs
The Moorcroft Wolves had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 70-69 to Burns. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Moorcroft in their matchups with Burns: they've now lost seven in a row.
Mason Medley had a dynamite game for Burns, dropping a double-double on 39 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mason Terry, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Moorcroft's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Burns, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Moorcroft will square off against Hot Springs County at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Burns, they will be playing at home against Newcastle at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Newcastle and Burns are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
