On Thursday, Iowa City West faced Liberty in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Iowa City West Trojans put the hurt on the Liberty Lightning with a sharp 48-25 win. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Iowa City West is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
