Germantown found a leader in King White as the team took down Madison Central on Friday. White rushed for 111 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries, and also threw for 137 yards on nine of 19 attempts. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2024.

White and Germantown will head out on the road to challenge Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Arrows thanks in part to White: he rushed for 80 yards and three scores, and also threw for 171 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes.
