Basketball Recap: Taylor Robertson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calhoun over Greenville

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Calhoun took an 81-67 bruising from Greenville. Calhoun was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Greenville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taylor Robertson, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jamel Mason, who went 10-for-17 on his way to 24 points.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Calhoun will face off against Keith at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-54 win against Hillcrest on the 15th.
