Volleyball Recap: Chetopa Takes a Loss

Chetopa lost against Oswego back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-8.

Oswego was led to victory by Mia Hiben and Ashton Schulz. Hiben had six aces and one assist, while Schulz had six aces. Those six aces gave Hiben a new career-high.

Chetopa's loss dropped their record down to 1-14-2. As for Oswego, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

Looking ahead, Chetopa will square off against Baxter Springs on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oswego, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast on Tuesday.
