Recap: Vista Ridge Wolves vs. Hinkley Thunderbirds
The Vista Ridge Wolves took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 98-11 win over Hinkley at home. With Vista Ridge ahead 57-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Vista Ridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ajarae Gibbs, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Kaiser, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Vista Ridge's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Hinkley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vista Ridge will square off against Falcon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
