Softball Recap: Macomb Comes Up Short

Macomb came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-0 to the Brimfield Indians. The Bombers were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Macomb has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for Brimfield, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 28-2.

Macomb wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-2 win against Brown County on the 15th. As for Brimfield, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Tremont on the 14th.
