Basketball Recap: Taylor's Crossing Takes a Loss

If Taylor's Crossing was feeling good fresh off their 55-30 takedown of Clark County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Taylor's Crossing Eagles took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Challis Vikings on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Challis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Ollar, who went 6 for 12 en route to 14 points and four steals. Ollar has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ramey Rhoades, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Taylor's Crossing's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Challis, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Taylor's Crossing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Challis, they will square off against Watersprings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
