Escalon came into Monday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and the Rio Linda Knights finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Cougars as the team haven't won a game since December 10th.

Escalon's draw gives them a new season record of 1-7-3. Meanwhile, Rio Linda's record is now 4-5-3.

Escalon will challenge Hughson at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Escalon's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Rio Linda, they will face off against Inderkum at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Inderkum's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Rio Linda's offense will have their work cut out for them.
