Baseball Recap: Gaylesville Falls Short of South Lamar in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gaylesville can now relate to. They came up short against the South Lamar Stallions on Saturday, falling 16-6. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Stallions: they've now lost four in a row.

Gaylesville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for South Lamar, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-11.

Gaylesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Lamar, they will take on Athens Bible on Friday.
