Baseball Recap: West Allis Central Takes a Loss

West Allis Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They came up short against Cedarburg, falling 12-1.

West Allis Central got a good showing from Julian Molthen, who pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Molthen has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, West Allis Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Webb, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

West Allis Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Cedarburg, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-16.

West Allis Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedarburg, they will face off against Germantown at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
