Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Carmel vs. Fallbrook

The Mt. Carmel Sundevils will face off against the Fallbrook Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Mt. Carmel's offense. They fell just short of San Marcos by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The loss was Mt. Carmel's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Fallbrook kept a clean sheet against Ramona on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 1-0.

Fallbrook's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-5. As for Mt. Carmel, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1-5.

Mt. Carmel beat Fallbrook by a goal in their previous matchup on January 14th, winning 1-0. Will the Sundevils repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
