Basketball Recap: Stevenson Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Stevenson Spartans might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets an easy 55-30 win.

Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for St. Mary's Prep, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stevenson will head out to take on Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Mary's Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Regina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary's Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Regina likes a good challenge.
